The sport that I like the most is Baseball. From my childhood I played it with pop caps and a broomstick or with a rubber ball; any place and any time were good to play a game of ball with my friends.
I remember very well when I bought my first glove and everything I had to do to "tame" it; I also remember how I fixed my bats with duct tape to extend their life. Likewise, I did it with the worn "Spalding" balls.
I did not miss a single World Series on TV, first in black and white, and then in full color. With my dad's consent and complicity, I stayed up late to watch the World Series games, even if I had classes the next day.
For many years I was a fan of the Yankees, but as an adult, I switched to the Giants, who gave me great satisfaction.
But sadly, these fond memories have been tainted forever by the intrusion of the despicable Left-wing politicking in Professional Baseball.
We have just seen how Major League Baseball players have submitted submissively to BLACK LIVES MATTER and, by falling to their knees, they have lost the respect of the American fans.
It is inconceivable that Major League Baseball has bowed to this communist and anti-American cause.
I say goodbye to Professional Baseball, hoping that this farewell is not a “goodbye”, but a "see you later". My future return as a fanatic depends on the future decisions of the MLB directives.
We are facing a dirty and mean war on all fronts, and sports are one of the bigger casualties. Without sports, there is no recreation or fun for many. Without sports, our youth is more prone to vice and crime. Without sports, countless businesses will cease to exist, and thus we lose an important part of our lives.
How long are we going to tolerate being stripped of what is ours? How long are we going to passively take aggravation against our way of life?
We, the good citizens, those of us who work and pay taxes, who care about educating our children and who love our families must stop being the "Silent Majority" and become a majority that protests in the streets, on social media, to elected officials at all levels, and who fights for their rights in the Courts.
It is enough of being accommodating and tolerant! We CANNOT continue to believe that all this disaster will cease and that everything will return to normal. The communists are here to stay and only with our determined counteroffensive, we will stop them. Let's not be like those Balless Baseball Players!
